Do or Do Not. There is No Try.

This is a true story that made me think that the word try may need to be banned from my vocabulary.

I told my son (6) that I’ll be away for a few days.

He asked me:

‘will you bring me a toy?`

Me:

*thinking he already has too many but not wanting to say no*

‘I’ll try’

My son:

*using a slightly preaching tone*

‘Mommy, that doesn’t work!

When you go inside a shop, you either buy me a toy or you don’t’.

At 6, my son knows there is no try.

𝙏𝙧𝙮𝙞𝙣𝙜 = 𝙣𝙤 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙪𝙡𝙩𝙨.

Resolve to do or not. There is no try.
